Karin dear, you work is exquisite. To tell you sincerely, I kind of get used to work with the acrylics. I have also started to use watercolor creyons, which I found very easy to use. A lot of people say that watercolor is the most difficult to work with. I kind of dissgree. My short experience tells me that acrylics are the most doomed because they dray too quickly. In one of my works I used gesso, and it is almost like woking in oil ( I believe so, because I never worked in oil). It drys slowly and you can do a lot of mixing right on the canvas. Was a lot of fun. Dancing around and paining with a piece of sponge :)) But then, I am not that meticulous painter. I lieke quick, colorful, not too much thinking whatsoever.... Inspired by music and moment.

Jane dear, I could not get a better compliment. I started to paint in January of this year, and this is my second painting. At that time I did not even think about following a master. I hardly knew how to mix my colors, and hold the brush. Certainly you made my day :))

Mary -- I see some of Van Gogh's technique in your brush work! It is especially nice to see such purposeful strokes in this type of composition. The paint seems to be showing off the subject, and the subject seems to be showing off the paint!

Hello Fran dear:) Indee, they really look different here. The colors are more accentuate. Try artwanted.com - there the colors are just look gorgeous. I like all three site for different reasons. On RB we can do a lot of thinks, including flashy banners we painters like a lot. Forums, discussions. Here is kind of austere...
